This is a very lovely area, the cottage we had was everything we could hope for, from the front it looks very small, but when you get inside it is roomy, and has a lovely garden at the rear. Mr Y, Wool, Dorset 04 April 2011
A charming cottage, well equipped and in an ideal location. Miss J, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire 08 January 2011
Rutland was lovely and the cottage outstanding. Local eateries and pubs were also second to none and would recommend anyone to go. Miss D, MANCHESTER, Greater Manchester 13 July 2010
The cottage was very well-equipped with little extras like wine and biscuits on arrival; cycles for our use and the provision of things like washing up liquid, soap etc. The owner was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The setting was excellent-near the pub and within a walk of Rutland's south shore! All in all a fantastic holiday. Miss B, WETHERBY, West Yorkshire 01 June 2010
Small, comfortable house in very pleasant village with good pub nearby. Property has a long and attractive garden (with table and seating). Easy parking outside house. Well equipped modern kitchen, separate dining room and cosy sitting room. Many small touches, like bikes in the shed, handwash gel by every sink, a bottle of wine on arrival.
Handy for Rutland Water (walks, cycling, boating, birdwatching, beautiful scenery). Attractive and historic towns Oakham, Uppingham & Stamford within easy reach by car, as are other places of interest. Regular bus service to Oakham etc. Mr L, LITTLEHAMPTON 24 April 2010
This property is a little gem - warm and cosy - appliances of a very high standard and complete with everything you would ever need. The village is warm and friendly a veritable home from home! Mrs S, ISLE OF MAN 15 December 2009

Excellent location for birdwatching, and equally excellent accommodation. Mr B, Isle of Man 21 June 2008
The owner of the cottage had thought of all you could need and it was a 'home from home'. The cottage is in a very good location for Rutland Water too. Mrs M, Lincoln, Lincolnshire 18 April 2008
A very clean and comfortable cottage and just a short walk away from excellent pub/restauarant, and with Ruland Water a short walk along local footpaths. Mr S, Bexleyheath, Kent 21 March 2008
